VisitScotland, Historic Scotland, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body and the National Trust for Scotland have appointed EAE to provide warehousing, storage, delivery and merchandising services for the next two years.

The leaflet and poster marketing company will be responsible for delivering and displaying over 5 million promotional brochures and leaflets in 5,000 outlets across Scotland as part of the contract, worth just under £1m.

Glen Bennett, the managing director of EAE, said: “We are naturally delighted to win this prestigious and valuable contract. We have consistently grown our client base by offering flexible, innovative and sustainable services that have helped to ensure that we have not lost a single client in the past 2 years.

“We look forward to working with VisitScotland, Historic Scotland, the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body and the National Trust for Scotland on this ground breaking contract, which we are confident will provide visitors with materials that will enhance their time in our country”.

EAE will work in partnership with Len Lothian Ltd, who will provide bulk storage.

Mike Cantlay, chairman of VisitScotland, said: “I would like to congratulate EAE on winning this contract. VisitScotland is working to encourage tourism businesses to be more sustainable and, by supporting the Scottish Government’s and VisitScotland’s efforts to increase low-carbon sustainable growth, EAE is an excellent example to other businesses. Scotland has the potential to be one of the most sustainable countries in Europe and EAE’s approach is to be highly commended.”
