LinkedIn looks to introduce mobile ads

Social network LinkedIn has revealed that it is ready to start introducing mobile advertising, although no timescale has been given.

The announcement follows Facebook revealing that it could introduce mobile advertising as early as last week.

Jeff Weiner, the chief executive of LinkedIn, said that mobile was an area of investment focus for the company, and revealed that the app was doing better on iPhones than it was on Android devices.
