MiNetwork has agreed a partnership with leading new business consultancy JFDI which will offer MiNetwork member agencies discounted access to a series of one day new business development training workshops taking place in cities across the UK in 2012.

The New Business Skills Days have so far been scheduled to take place in Oxford, Bristol, Manchester and Birmingham and MiNetwork members can get an exclusive 10% discount on attending the full day workshops. The practical sessions cover all aspects of new business strategy, including auditing current new business activity, creating opportunities, improving conversion, profile building and installing a new business culture right across your business.

JFDI was launched in 2004 and is headed up by business development specialists Camilla Honey and Mark Clark. Honey began her new business career at Roose & Partners before moving to J Walter Thompson. Since leaving JWT in 1997, she has worked as a new business consultant for a number of agencies including; JWT, Michaelides and Bednash, St Luke’s, HHCL, Soul and Chime Communications.

Clark has worked across a wide range of clients, categories and disciplines with brands and companies such as Coca-Cola, Cadbury, Nestle, GSK, Panasonic, Interbrew, Durex, and Capital One. He has worked at both small and multinational creative agencies, latterly as a Senior Vice President for Europe, Middle East & Africa at McCann Erickson. He has a proven track record for organically growing his portfolio of business, achieving an average 18% growth p.a.

Since launch, JFDI has trained more than 200 of the UK’s best performing new business agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB UK, Leo Burnett, Walker Media, M&C Saatchi and Fallon to name a few.

Honey said: “We are excited to be working with MiNetwork and its members and taking our new business expertise to a wider market across the UK. jfdi has become the UK’s trusted new business advisor, having worked with over 200 marketing communication agencies and we are very passionate about helping agencies win new business in a more intelligent way .”

Richard Draycott, Managing Director of MiNetwork, said: “jfdi has worked with the top agencies in the UK and the rolling out of their training in cities across the UK will be a great benefit for MiNetwork’s members. Having gone through the training course with Camilla is clear that the advice is based on real experience and attendees actually work on their own new business challenges during the day, so they leave with some tangible results.”

Speaking of a recent training Michael Rebelo, former managing director at Saatchi & Saatchi, said: “To call JFDI a New Business training specialist would be an understatement. They do of course provide a stimulating and insightful training program across the new business process, but more than that they have become a strategic business partner for Saatchi & Saatchi. We have found the partnership with Mark and Camilla one that has delivered immediate impact to our business and we look forward to working with them over the long term to really drive sustainable growth for the Agency."

The New Business Skills Days take place in the following dates:
