New sales director for IgnitionOne

Digital marketing solutions company IgnitionOne has appointed Bernie Scranney as UK sales director.

Scranney joins from Dunnhumby, the data analysis company, where he was head of digital agency sales for a portfolio of Tesco websites.

Prior to that Scranney was head of digital sales at BBC Worldwide, where he worked across websites including Top Gear, Lonely Planet and Radio Times. He has also worked at Advertising.com, Lastminute.com and Guardian Newspapers.

He will now be responsible for promoting IgnitionOne's on-site marketing solution to agencies and brands direct.

Chris Evans, UK managing director, said: “Bernie is an excellent asset to our sales team given his significant experience."
