Marketing director Richard Hayes leaves Warburtons

Marketing director Richard Hayes has left Warburtons after five years.

The family-owned baker has confirmed Hayes' departure but has not given any further details.

Hayes joined the Bolton-based firm in April 2007 having previously spent a year as marketing director at Whyte & Mackay.

Before that he spent nine years at Allied Domecq, where he was marketing director for European core brands.
