Editor Stuart Anderson has left EN magazine to join wealth management firm Clarion as head of marketing and communications.

Anderson spent six years at the entrepreneurs magazine and had been editor since 2009.

He has also previously edited the financial services industry magazines Pensions Age and Continuity Insurance & Risk.

In his new post he will aim to help Cheshire-based Clarion raise its profile among potential clients, other professional services firms and in the independent financial advice sector.

Anderson said: "It’s great to join a company that has the kind of plans that Clarion does, a pipeline of exciting developments to back those plans up and, most importantly, the professionalism to see them through successfully.

“It’s also good to take on a role that combines my background in the financial services press with my more recently acquired experience writing for and about entrepreneurs – a key element of Clarion’s client base and one that we are keen to grow.”
