McDonald’s has launched its latest assault on our television screens with the premiere of its latest TV ad, ‘First Day’.

Aired in both 60sec and 40sec formats the piece follows a young man on his first day in a new job who decides to head somewhere familiar for his lunch – McDonald’s.

Conceived by Leo Burnett London the campaign is designed to reflect McDonald’s five year restaurant refurbishment campaign, which has seen a broader choice of menu options introduced alongside new technologies.

Alistair Macrow, Vice President, Marketing, McDonald's UK, said: “Our latest advert focuses on the high-quality food and dining experience that McDonald's customers have come to know and trust.

“We pride ourselves on the fact that our customers can enjoy the same great food and service regardless of where or when they visit us and our modern and comfortable restaurants, which all offer free Wi-Fi, provide the perfect setting for people to come in and enjoy breakfast, a relaxing lunch or even just a quick-stop coffee.”
