Google fuels Super Bowl hype

Google has been swept up in the football craze sweeping America as this Sunday’s Super Bowl approaches with a new website offering football related features and services.

Titled ‘Game Day with Google’ the site acts as a digital hub offering everything from football FAQs to information, trivia and related media.

The search giant is also teaming up with both challengers for the cup with the New York Giants and New England Patriots posting exclusive behind the scenes content on their respective Google+ pages.

Giant’s fans will also be treated to a live chat with the team on Thursday courtesy of the fledgling social network.

Not to be outdone Youtube will be offering its fifth annual ‘Ad Blitz’, a compilation of Super Bowl commercials and marketing campaigns.
