Regional digital and games experts sought to join Creative England board
Creative England, the organisation which launched in October last year to replace the nine regional screen agencies, is seeking regional experts from the digital and games sectors to join its non-executive Board.

The organisation is inviting applications from entrepreneurs and professionals working in any part of the English regions who have the skills and experience to help shape Creative England, and grow the creative economy outside London.
Current board members are Alison Owen of Ruby Films, Illumina Digital's Andrew Chitty, Reel Solutions' Bill Lawrence, Charles Wace from Twofour Group, Heather Rabbatts of Talent House Media, Jonnie Turpie of Maverick TV, BBC Four's Richard Klein and Chairman John Newbigin.
Newbigin said: “The Creative England Board already has some of the most experienced and respected figures in film, TV and the media industries who bring with them an intimate understanding of industry needs in different parts of the country. We are now looking to further strengthen this team with professionals who are at the leading edge of developments in the games and digital media sectors and who understand the challenges and opportunities facing independent creative businesses outside London.”
It was announced earlier this week that Sheffield agency Peter and Paul has been appointed to create the organisation's brand identity.
