The Leith Agency has promote senior creative Mark Davies and Michael Kinlan, who were behind the ‘Snowman’ ad for IRN-BRU, as joint deputy creative directors.

The two, who also founded recruitment scheme The Hotdesk at the agency, will work alongside the agency’s longstanding creative partner Gerry Farrell.

“No team has done more in recent years to raise the standard of Scottish creativity. This is a richly deserved promotion. I was lucky enough to have Gareth Howells and Dougal Wilson as my last deputies. In Michael and Mark, I have people of the same caliber,” commented Farrell.

The IRN-BRU 'Snowman' advert has become a permanent fixture of the Christmas TV airwaves since its release in 2006, running during the festive period every year since.

The Hotdesk has also brought in four creative into the agency on permanent roles; Jordan Laird and Dominique McMullan and Jim Swan and Sam Muir.
