A new website, www.seochina.co.uk, has been launched to assist businesses in targeting their wares at the growing Chinese market following arrival of the likes of WPP in the territory.

The site aims to educate businesses on the challenges and opportunities presented by the nascent superpower.

Conceived by Bite Digital and managed by the online marketing agencies China team the site incorporates up to date information on the Chinese market and practical advice to those considering trade with the world’s second largest economy.

This includes collaboration with UKTI to cover up to 100% of the cost of translating their website into Chinese.

Jason Cozens managing director of Bite Digital, said: "China is an exciting market to be involved in at the moment. There have been a number of developments recently within the country including local government policies designed to encourage creative industries and internet businesses to enter the market and share their experiences.

"There has never been a better time for western companies to move into the market. However, there are still very few businesses who are aware of the possibilities open to them within the market."
