Online movie service Blinkbox has launched an online competition offering Facebook users the chance to win a cool £1m quid – simply by correctly guessing all 24 winners of this year’s Oscars.

This year silent film The Artist is hotly tipped to win ‘Best Picture’ whilst Meryl Street is favoured to win Best Actress for her portrayal of Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady.

Michael Comish, CEO and co-founder of blinkbox said: “If you think of yourself as the next Barry Norman, it’s time to put your money where your mouth is! At blinkbox, we already bring the latest movies to customers across the UK, and now this Facebook competition gives film lovers the chance to test their movie knowledge for a life-changing prize.

So while Hollywood royalty are waltzing down the red carpet with their golden statues, a lucky blinkbox winner could be walking away with a million pounds. What’s there to lose?”

To put your own big screen knowledge to the test for the big prize simply log-in to Blinkbox’s Facebook page, entry is free.

All entries must be received before midnight on February 21.
