Twofour Digital has appointed Martin Trickey, formerly head of cross platform productions at the BBC, as its new digital creative director.

Trickey has previously been responsible for the multiplatform production arm of BBC Vision and been a head of digital at Teachers TV.

He has managed the slates and multi-platform budgets for high-profile shows such as Doctor Who, Strictly Come Dancing and Top Gear.

Lisa Opie, managing director at Twofour Digital, said: “We're delighted to have someone of Martin's calibre join Twofour Digital. He has worked on both commissioning and production sides, giving him a unique insight to help us win new branded content and multi-platform commissions.

"He will also help Twofour bring our impressive skills in digital media and technology to broadcasters."
