ITV to work with Bauer Media on behind the scenes series 'The Exclusives'

Bauer Media is to work alongside Twofour to create seven hour-long TV programmes for ITV entitled ‘The Exclusives’.

The programme has been ordered by ITV’s director of digital channels and acquisitions, and will aim to showcase the world of magazine publishing, with six young journalists competing for a 12-month contract at the publisher.

The trainees will be given access to the teams working on heat, FHM, Closer, more!, Kerrang! and Empire, as well as being offered back stage access to events and coaching in different crafts including interviewing, photo shoot organisation and reader interaction.

Abby Carvosso, managing director of Lifestyle & Advertising at Bauer Media, commented: “This breakthrough media partnership will deliver an exciting new TV programme that shows what it really takes to create the most exciting magazines in the country. The programme, which will be broadcast by ITV2, was co-conceived by Bauer creative director, Julian Linley.
