Netflix set for 'uphill battle' in UK claims Enders Analysis research
Netflix is set to face ‘an uphill battle’ having launched in the UK, research by Enders Analysis has claimed
The research firm has said that the launch of the online film and television streaming service, which faces competition from LoveFilm, will face ‘limited’ prospects in the UK given the availability of low priced pay TV already available through Sky, Virgin Media and BT.
Enders Analysis has also claimed that the impact that Netflix will have on the pay-TV industry is likely to be ‘even smaller’ than the effect the service has had in the US.
