Eva Keogan will work to grow and develop the consultancy's offer in social media planning, strategy and engagement.

Keogan sits on the IAB Social Media Council, the IAB SMC regulatory committee, the DMA Social subcommittee and the Social Media advisory team, and is also a social media ambassador for Save the Children and in her spare time runs the mummy blog, nixdminx.

Fishburn Hedges has also appointed Benjamin Fox as a social media consultant. Both will start their new roles this month.

Fiona Thorne, chief executive of Fishburn Hedges, said: "Advising our clients on digital communications has been a core part of our business for a long time now and we look forward to Eva and Ben helping us strengthen our offer yet further in 2012."
