Twitter has been ordered to provide the US Department of Justice with the account information of three users suspected of supporting WikiLeaks.

The order was made by a US district judge who elected to deny moves to suspend previous orders that would allow DoJ access to the info.

Jacob Appelbaum, a computer security researcher, Icelandic MP Birgitta Jonsdottir and Dutch activist Rop Gonggrijp are currently under investigation by the US over their links to the whistleblowing website.

Information sought by the US includes all mailing addresses and billing information, connection records, session times and IP addresses used to connect to Twitter.
