London 2012 suspends ticket resale to fix problems
The reselling of tickets for the London 2012 Olympics has been suspended temporarily while problems with the system are sorted.
People who bought their tickets directly from LOCOG were able to put their tickets up for resale from today until 3 February, but already the system is facing problems and customers have been suspended from putting their tickets up for resale.
The system was created as a way to attempt to combat ticket touts, but problems such as out of date tickets being sold have occurred.
Some users have reported that the website says tickets are available for events until the checkout stage, when they are informed the tickets are not available after all.
