Timothy Spall cast as lead in short film by BA Great Britons winner
Timothy Spall has been cast as the lead in in a short film being created by BA Great Britons winner Prasanna Puwanarajah, which will be shown at the pre-opening of the London 2012 Olympic Games, as well as on British Airways flights.
The film, which is currently in production, was filmed in various locations in London, including the Velodrome at the London 2012 Olympic Park.
Puwanarajah said: “This is a film about a father and a son and a journey of forgiveness and absolution. I hope people will enjoy watching it as much as we have enjoyed making it. It was a real coup to get Timothy Spall cast in the lead role and he gives a beautiful performance.”
The film is to be kept under wraps until April, when it will be unveiled.
