Persimmon appoints Connect to PR account

Connect PR has landed "one of its biggest ever wins" after picking up the Persimmon PR account.

The Wolverhampton agency won the national and regional brief after an eight-way pitch. lt will handle PR for the Persimmon Homes, Charles Church and Westbury Partnerships brands.

The account was previously held by Golley Slater for 14 years.

Hazel Crawford-Upton, Connect PR’s managing director, said: “There will be a seven-strong team working on the account, looking after PR for 24 regional offices as well as national PR.

“The account will involve traditional media relations, social media and video news. It’s a hugely exciting piece of business for the team and we’re looking forward to giving Persimmon Homes a fresh perspective on PR.”
