Moviejuice, the film review show presented by Grant Lauchlan, is to return to STV tomorrow night.

The programme, which will air at 8pm on Fridays for 12 weeks and feature the views of Scotland’s top film critics, will begin with reviews of The Iron Lady.

Grant Lauchlan, entertainment reporter at STV, said: “Scotland has had a long love affair with the movies. We have more cinema goers per head of population than anywhere in Europe and we deserve our own movie show.

“I’m really excited about the new show and I’m going to be interviewing some of the biggest stars on the planet with a few movie surprises along the way. With the awards season in full swing there couldn’t be a better time to kick off Moviejuice.”

The show will also look at what the public are watching through a network of STV Local review panels.

Siobhan Synnot, journalist and film critic for Scotland on Sunday, said: “Scots are the UK’s keenest movie fans. It’s about time they had a TV show tailored for them which can highlight the best of Scottish film talent too.”
