The Gate Films wins uSwitch pitch

Energy comparison website uSwitch.com has enlisted The Gate Films to work on its new TV campaign.

The Manchester and Edinburgh production company was appointed following a three-way-pitch against rival London outfits in December.

Steve Byrne, The Gate's managing director, said: "We’ll be working with them in 2012 to ensure they are leveraging film across broadcast and online to keep their ambitious growth plans on track."

A national TV campaign will launch alongside a number of online film promotions intended to drive enquiries.

Simon Hills, head of marketing at uSwitch, said: "We have a great creative concept for our evolved gas & electricity switching service."
