D2 Jeans goes into administration for the second time
The D2 Jeans chain has gone into administration, making 200 people redundant, with more job losses expected to follow.
Administrators BDO have closed 19 branches, while 28 are still being run while there is a search for a buyer.
This is the second time in two years that the chain, set up by Scottish entrepreneur Sir Tom Hunter, has gone into administration.
The website for D2 Jeans now carries the message that it is ‘temporarily out of service.’
