Southampton FC unveils campaign with blippar

Southampton FC has created an augmented reality marketing campaign with blippar, allowing the fans to ‘become part of the team’.

Using the blippar app, Southampton FC advertising banners will provide access to the club’s website, team shop and ticket office, as well as fans being able to use the huddle feature to place their own face into the Southampton FC team. The image can then be shared via email, Facebook and Twitter.

Huddle images will be seen across the city from this week, with fans being able to see the new materials close up in Southampton’s match day programme for the Boxing Day home match against Crystal Palace.
