Paul Walton, founder of The Value Engineers, is to retire from the board of Cello Group.

Walton, who launched the business over 25 years ago, has spent the last six years embedding the current management team at The Value Engineers, while also leading the brand repositioning of the Cello Group.

Following his retirement from the board, however, Walton will continue to advice the group on a part time basis, with a special remit of working with the Cello Academy.

Mark Scott, CEO of Cello, commented; "The Board and senior management team of Cello wish to thank Paul for his great contribution to the success of the company. He has helped transform Cello into a vibrant community of motivated professionals. He has been a great source of inspiration to many of us and we look forward to his continued engagement with the future of the company."
