Innis & Gunn appoints marketing manager to drive brand growth

Independent brewer Innis & Gunn has appointed Lucy Cross as marketing manager, with the aim of helping to drive brand growth and market share.

Based in Edinburgh, Cross will be responsible for building brand equity and affinity, delivering a global brand plan to augment Innis & Gunn’s trade and consumer profile, assisting with NPD and the development of a new Brand Ambassador programme. She joins from Bacardi Martini Ltd.

Dougal Sharp, managing director at Innis & Gunn, said: “We’re a young business with big growth ambitions and Lucy ticked all the right boxes in what we were looking for in a marketing manager.

“She possesses the right skill-set, having a track record of planning and implementing complex global projects and developing brand strategies; she also demonstrated an excellent knowledge of the drinks trade and an understanding of how to optimise our market position.
