Clarks Originals to join with band The Joy Formidable next year for social media campaign

Clarks Originals has announced that it will unveil a social media campaign with Welsh band The Joy Formidable next year.

The band will go on a tour of Britain, through London, Manchester and Bristol, with fans able to enter a ballot and win one of 150 tickets on the Clarks Originals site.

The gigs will take place in pop-up venues across the cities and the secret locations will be announced 48 hours before the event via social media. Clarks’ agency, Yellowdoor, has revealed that there will also be ‘a few’ tickets available at the door for fans who are the quickest on Twitter.

The Joy Formidable said: “The OriginalsLIVE tour in February will mark our return to home soil; after the year we’ve had it’ll be great to do something special for the fanbase, we’ll be looking forward to seeing our UK audiences again.”

Clarks Originals will also be using international platforms of the site and social media to invite three ‘super’ fans from across the world to come and join the tour for an incredibly exclusive experience, with each being allowed to bring a friend. Fans from USA, Italy, Japan and the UK will be revealing all through daily blogs, podcasts and a final film. The four reporters will broadcast online, throughout the tour at the Clarks Original website.
