Twitter is to undergo a redesign while introducing new features for people signing up to the service for the first time.

The redesign will roll out in the coming weeks, and will also add a ‘stories’ section to help its users find content that is of interest directly to them.

Also, new users will be helped by Twitter, having been found to be a confusing site to first engage with in the past, it will now host a ‘discover’ tab with information of interest, based on their location and other information provided.

The homepage itself will also be redesigned to centrally position a photo and biography of each user.

A video has been created to explain more about the developments (see above.)
