Absolute Radio secures three month sponsorship deal with Volvo

Absolute Radio has announced a three month sponsorship deal with Volvo XC Range, who will sponsor weather bulletins across the Absolute Radio network this winter.

Taglines such as “Volvo XC Range, experts in Winter Driving” will be broadcast across all Absolute Radio shows and stations during weather bulletins. It is expected the Volvo XC campaign will reach over 2.8 million listeners a week.

The deal was brokered by Chloe Brand, sponsorship account manager at Absolute Radio and Tracy Roberts, account director from Mindshare.

Roberts said: “The Absolute Radio weather bulletins are a great and relevant opportunity to communicate Volvo’s XC Range and capabilities during the winter period.”

Emma Smyth, head of sponsorship at Absolute Radio, said: “The collaboration with the Volvo XC Range this winter works very well indeed.

“We are very pleased to have them on board and helping to communicate their XC Range and their performance in winter weather conditions.”
