Harvey Nichols is using the dreaded walk of shame as the inspiration for its Christmas campaign.

The retailer has released an online video which shows an array of stragglers making their way home from nights out in the cold light of day.

But the last girl arrives home looking as glamorous as she did when she left - because she bought her party dress from Harvey Nicks.

The film, created by DDB, is certainly not as cutesy as the John Lewis effort but it looks set to go viral after causing a stir on Twitter this afternoon.
