A website for Victoria Primary School in Edinburgh has been developed as a Christmas present from digital agency Civic.

The site has been created as part of Civic Pride, the agency’s programme that aims to improve public services through the development of free or open source technologies, in order to reduce the burden on taxpayers.

The site allows the school to update the local community as to the activities it will undertake and features artwork by children from the school.

Mark Steven from Civic, commented; “This seemed like a great fit for the CIVIC Pride programme. Christmas is really focussed around children, and we make websites, so doing something for a primary school in time for Christmas was perfect.”
