Man City is to trial integrating tweets on match screens

Man City is to trial integrating tweets into the pre and post match experience during tomorrow's fixture against Norwich.

Tweets sent before and after the game tomorrow (1pm - 2.30pm and 5.15pm -6pm) and containing the hashtag #blueview will be broadcast on the giant stadium screens.

Although displayed in real-time, MCFC webteam will be moderating all content – not surprising given the potential for misuse.

The idea is to make the matches a more global experience, people from around the world able to get involved and be a part of the matchday experience.

If the move proves a success other teams will almost certainly follow City’s lead.
