PR firm Weber Shandwick has announced that it will expand its brand experience offering with a new Manchester office.

Creation @ Weber Shandwick will launch on Wednesday at Manchester town hall, and aims to design and produce ‘smart experiences’ for the agency’s clients and their audiences, using design, live, motion content and digital build as its four areas of production expertise.

The launch makes Manchester the first office within the agency’s European network to expand the brand experience business, which was created in London six months ago. It will be led by Leigh Brimicombe, who was previously at The Red Consultancy in London, overseen by Weber Shandwick North managing director, Jo Leah and Weber Shandwick’s UK head of creation, Dan Atkins.

Colin Byrne, Weber Shandwick UK & EMEA CEO, said: “All agencies are talking about the innovation agenda but unlike them we are doing something about it. Creation is our full-scale production business, built in recognition of this rapidly changing market. It has been rocket fuel for our London business and I am pleased to be launching it in my home city of Manchester, alongside Jo and her team."
