Yardley London begins London sampling campaign around My Week With Marilyn release
To tie in with the release of new British feature film, ‘My Week with Marilyn’, a sampling campaign of English Lavender Eau de Toilette is being offered by Yardley London.
The campaign, developed by the7stars, sees Yardley London team with five Picture House Cinemas across London, Oxford and Norwich for the sampling and promotional campaign, which also offer the chance for audiences to win a weekend break in Windsor.
Both Yardley London and Windsor Castle feature in the movie, which opens today (25 November).
Karen Cullen, marketing manager for Yardley London, said “This is the brand’s first major sampling campaign and the opportunity to sample a timeless classic fragrance from our collection, English Lavender, as quoted in the film, will provide our female target audience with the chance to experience this beautiful scent for themselves.”
Ellie Ring from the7stars said: “This the first time Yardley London has been aligned with a cinema chain for brand sampling, and the fit is perfect. It is a tasteful and elegant idea which can only enhance the customer experience and the occasion.”
Samples of the English lavender fragrance will be provided with ticket purchases at the cinemas, alongside a postcard offering recipients the chance to enter the competition at the Yardley London website.
