Ultimat Vodka Facebook app aims to judge user's social life

A new Facebook app from Ultimat Vodka, Social Life Audit, claims to be able to algorithmically judge what your social life is like – offline.

Created by Stink Digital the app cross-references data from status updates and check-ins against nightclub and bar listings in BlackBooks to see where you’re hanging out, and if those places are ‘trendy’.

Facial recognition technology judges how ‘happy’ you are in photos, how often you hang out with the opposite sex, and whether the people you hang out with are hot and single.

The campaign has a strange sense of seriousness about it. Rather than being promoted as a gimmick users are advised to be able to take constructive criticism about their offline social life... from a computer.

Ultimat’s tagline is ‘Find Balance’. Advice worth taking.
