Blue Diamond Almonds appoints driven as lead UK agency

US almond giant Blue Diamond Growers has appointed driven as lead UK communications agency for its Blue Diamond Almonds brand.

Blue Diamond Growers represents over half the almond growers in California, with annual sales of $825m.

The brief for Cheshire-based driven is to build the brand in the UK, reporting to business director for international retail, Bob Carroll, in Sacramento.

Nick Brookes, managing partner at driven, said: “Having spent a week with the US and Global management teams in California in the lead up to our appointment just made me realise how lucky we are to have been given this opportunity. It’s a great brand to be working on and a fantastic team to be working with."

The agency's first work is due to be launched next year.
