ITV poaches BBC marketer Sakaan to become director of network marketing.

Reemah Sakaan has head of marketing at BBC One, BBC Drama, BBC Film and BBC HD has been named as ITV’s director of network marketing.

Sakaan will be handed responsibility for marketing ITV content and report to group director of marketing and research Rufus Radcliffe.

She takes on the role from former director of viewer marketing, Rob Farmer who left in August.

Sakaan joined the BBC in 2005 having previously held the role of marketing manager at Haagen-Dazs, General Mills.
