Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak has acquired a brand new smartphone to impress his mates with but it isn’t an iPhone 4S – it’s a Samsung Galaxy Nexus.

Committing the industrial equivalent of treason Wozniak went on a jaunt around the offices of his arch rivals Google, before nabbing a free copy of Google’s latest and greatest.

The surprising choice follows Wozniak’s previously stated admiration for the Android operating system, specifically the new Ice Cream Sandwich operating system present on the Nexus.

Wozniak is at pains to stress however that his ‘main’ phone remains his iPhone, pointing out: “I’m not suggesting it’s (Android) better than iOS by any stretch of the imagination. But it can get greater market share and still be crappy.”
