Fox Television Networks and Pilat Media Global end legal dispute
Media business software supplier Pilat Media Global has announced that it has settled its legal dispute with Fox Television Networks, after it was informed in September that the broadcaster would no longer use its system.

The decision by Fox led to Pilat claiming unspecified damages, claiming breaches of contract as there was no prior warning given to the decision, leading to Fox filing an amended complaint against Pilat seeking $18.5 million in damages.
Fox had been using an old version of Pilat Media's IBMS system in 10 out of its 18 sites.
The two companies have however announced a confidential settlement, which will see Pilat entitled to payments of $850,000 (around £542,000).
