Former Heineken brand director Given joins O2 as head of sponsorship
O2 has named Mark Given, former brand director for Heineken, as its new head of sponsorship.
Given was credited with resurrecting the John Smith’s partnership with Peter Kay and also negotiated the extension of the brand’s sponsorship of the Grand National, and oversaw Foster’s sponsorship of the new online Alan Partridge series and The Fast Show which at Heineken.
Given will take up his new role in O2’s brand team on 16 January 2012.
