Lenny Henry to feature in first radio campaign for Premier Inn

Comedian Lenny Henry is to feature in the his first radio advertising campaign for Premier Inn.

Henry, who has appeared in the company’s TV advertising campaigns in recent years, will now be involved in the latest six-figure radio campaign that will run for two-weeks from 21 November.

The 30-second advert aims to drive awareness of Premier Inn’s Great Night Giveaway reward scheme, running across over 50 stations including Magic FM, Rock FM, Smooth FM, Hallam, Radio City, Metro and Classical FM.

Gerard Tempest, sales and marketing director for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants commented: “This new radio campaign has been designed to launch the Great Night Giveaway. Lenny has been the face of the brand for a couple of years now and we’re pleased to have him on board to be the voice of the latest campaign.”
