Peckish has launched a new website with 9xb as part of its £1million marketing push.

The website is aimed at promoting the relaunch of the brand’s wild bird food range, and contains an interactive guide to birds, their habitats and recommended feed, as well as ‘Peckish Junior Birder’ activities and games section for children.

There are also plans for the website to be used as a platform to encourage and showcase user generated content, including a crowd sourced photography gallery. 9xb will also conduct SEO activity around the website, augmented by social media activity on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube.

Jen Richardson, brand manager at Peckish, said: “As well as showcasing the Peckish range, the new website is aimed at giving people the knowledge and recommendations to enjoy birds in their gardens, making the brand accessible to both seasoned and first time feeders.

“We’ll be adding a number of other exciting elements over the next couple of months, including a competition inviting user generated content, which will further encourage interaction around the Peckish brand.”
