The website for fashion brand Barney’s has been overhauled as part of the company’s centenary celebrations.

Designed and built by I-COM, the new site will aim to help increase the profile of the Barney’s brand names such as Barneys Originals, Barneys Black and Barneys Vintage.

The brochure website will showcase the full range and include features such as the Barneys Look Book, while also allowing customers to buy directly through the site.

I-COM has also been tasked with the continued management and maintenance of the site.

"The new site is designed to be an online portal where people can go, browse Barneys range of leather jackets and get excited about the brand. They then have the choice to go and purchase products from IL2L," commented I-COM operations director Mike Blackburn.

"The focus of the website is on design and accurately reflecting the brand's personality, style and vast heritage in an imaginative and compelling way. Barneys has been a well-known name in Manchester fashion circles for a century, but now, with the help of this website, we feel the brand will be able to increase its profile universally well into the future. "

Richard Arron, director at Barneys, added: "Our heritage is one of the main characteristics that make the Barneys brand stand out from the crowd, and we're really pleased that we now have a website that shows visitors what we're all about."
