Hovis launches new website with Acknowledgement and Monochrome

Hovis has relaunched its website. The bread brand commissioned a redesign of its site to better display its heritage, improve interactivity and make nutritional information more accessible to visitors.

Digital agency, Acknowledgement designed the new site; Monochrome is responsible for the build.

Features include a timeline infographic of Hovis’ brand history, Hovis recipes dating back to 1926 and an animated background header. Themed headers for special occasions such as Christmas and Easter have also been developed and will be displayed accordingly.

“There is a strong social media presence across the site, featuring 'like' buttons for each product and recipe,” Acknowledgement said of the site redesign on their blog. “There is also a Facebook 'like' leaderboard module displaying the 5 most liked products and a social media feed called 'Hovis Chatter'.”

The new website also features a section dedicated to healthy recipes. Visitors to the site are being encouraged to upload their own health recipes that involve Hovis bread.
