First bus passengers in Glasgow could win prizes such as TVs, Kindles and iPods in a giveaway which forms part of the company’s autumn’s marketing campaign.
Customers are being urged to check the back of their tickets to see if they have won a prize or a gift. Customers who get a mystery prize ticket when they get on board will be able to check if the number on their ticket is a winner on the website, while other tickets carry 2for1 deals with firms including Blockbuster and Merlin Entertainments.
‘Freebies’ for the campaign were sources by Glasgow-based Frame, who was also responsible for producing the creative.
The giveaway forms part of First’s autumn advertising campaign: ‘We Believe - there has never been a better time to get on board with First’. The campaign also includes advertising on local buses and local radio stations, as well as a leaflet doorstep drop.
