iPhone 4S owners complain of audio bug
Apple is facing a fresh round of criticism from iPhone 4S owners, this time in relation to an apparent audio bug in which callers cannot hear the person they are speaking to at the end of the line.
Affected users have been bombarding the tech firm with queries on the issue but as yet Apple have been unable to say whether it is a software or hardware issue.
For some people simply plugging in a headset, pressing mute twice, or disabling Siri will suffice. Many others have resorted to exchanging their phones at an Apple store to obtain a different earpiece.
The embarrassing glitch follows a series of complaints levelled against the device from some users, notably that its battery life had inexplicably lessened and others noted a yellow tint in their displays.
