Digital agency Reading Room is hosting an art exhibition in aid of children’s charity, Barnardos.

The London agency is giving over its gallery space free of charge for a joint-exhibition by Columbian artist, Dario Vargas and students from Barnardo’s High Close School in Wokingham. Paintings by the students will hang alongside the Columbian’s for one month, from 7th November to 9th December.

The exhibition follows the release yesterday of a new Barnardos advert, aired across the Channel 4 network at 9pm last night.

Barnardos says its recent promotional activities reflect a more concentrated effort by the charity to reach a wider audience and show the positive, measurable impact its services have on the lives of the children and young people it helps.

“Telling the stories of the young people we work with is the most powerful way we have of communicating the possibility for change,” said UK director of marketing and business change at Barnardos, Diana Tickell.
