Heineken appoints new head of UK marketing

Heineken has announced the appointment of Jacco van der Linden as head of UK marketing.

He will begin in this new role in January, having been marketing director at the group’s Nigerian Breweries subsidiary since 2008.

As well as the flagship lager brand, van der Linden will take over the marketing in the UK for Foster’s, Strongbow and John Smith’s.

Stefan Orlowski, UK managing director, said: “Jacco is an accomplished leader and a true commercial professional, with experience across sales and marketing, in emerging and mature markets.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience in portfolio management and brand development.”
