The Edinburgh International Book Festival has released an invitation to tender for website development, with the deadline for submissions being Monday 7 November.

The brief states: “We are looking for a creative, pro-active and well-resourced web development agency to maintain and develop the existing website and content management system for Edinburgh International Book Festival, www.edbookfest.co.uk.

“We would like to work with an organisation that has the experience, technical skill and creative flair to help us achieve our long-term online ambitions, along with the flexibility, high standards and expertise to achieve our short-term goals as outlined here.”

The Edinburgh International Book Festival has committed a baseline annual budget of £15,000 + VAT, paid in instalments, for support, maintenance and the progressive development of new design and functionality.

Agencies are asked to submit a written document outlining credentials and relevant experience by 7 November, with a meeting with short-listed agencies to discuss written proposal taking the place the week after. An appointment will be made the following week.
