A campaign to promote Panasonic’s Smart Viera television range has been released, building on the brand’s partnership with the London 2012 Olympic Games.

The 30 second ‘See it like never before’ TV advert, created by Brave, will support the range and will run up to the Games, featuring a voice over from actor Tom Hardy.

As well as TV, the campaign will also run across print, online, in-store.

“Our Smart Viera televisions bring the home entertainment experience to another level which is why What Hi-fi? has awarded us Television of the Year. They combine connectivity with our best picture performance yet and make the ultimate stage to view the London 2012 Olympic Games. This campaign is the first to really bring to the forefront our long term Olympic partnership and cements Panasonic’s commitment to developing innovative technology and our pursuit of excellence says David Bonney, advertising manager at Panasonic UK.

Stefan Kann, broadcast director for Brave, added: “The concept for the campaign brings to life the multitude of features of Smart Viera televisions; elegant design, connectivity and outstanding 2D and 3D performance through a choreographed gymnasts beam routine, landing each one of the Smart Viera’s functional points. It allowed us to deliver the functionality of the range of televisions and overlay an Olympic theme to the piece, showcasing both the brand and Smart Viera television in a very simple yet dynamic piece.”

Production for the advert was handled by Soft Target, while media was devised by Vizeum.
